  Port of Miami (PortMiami)

Located just 45 miles east of Orlando, Port Canaveral is the fastest growing cruise port in Florida, with plans to double in capacity over next years. Due to its proximity to Orlando many vacationers find it convenient to add a cruise to their Orlando vacation. Cruise lines operating out of Port Canaveral include Royal Caribbean International, Norwegian Cruise Line, Disney Cruise Line and Carnival Cruise Line.

 




    Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale)

 

 

Located in the heart of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Port Everglades was ranked the third busiest cruise port in the world in 2015, accommodating 3.4 million passengers. It is also the busiest container port in Florida and 10th busiest in the United States. With 15 different cruise lines and 55 cruise ships offering regularly scheduled cruises, Port Everglades claims to offer more cruise lines, more sailings, and more itineraries than any other port in the world. Top destinations for cruises departing this port are the Caribbean, the Bahamas and Bermuda. The world’s two largest cruise ships, Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas, also operate out of Port Everglades.


    New York City, NY

There are three primary ports that serve cruise line passengers in the New York City area. The first; a short distance from Times Square and on the Hudson River is The Manhattan Cruise Terminal, The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, located on the Buttermilk Channel in the Red Hook area of Brooklyn and The Cape Liberty Port which is located in Bayonne, New Jersey, in the Bayonne Harbor. This port allows for easy access for passengers arriving at Newark International Airport. Cruise ship destinations include New England, Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean and Europe. Cruise lines that have home ports in New York; Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Carnival Cruise Line and Cunard Cruise Line. Ships from many other cruise lines, such as Silversea Cruises and MSC Cruises, have ships that visit as a port of call.

The Manhattan Cruise Terminal hosts several cruise lines, including Carnival, Norwegian, Cunard and Holland America. Several of the cruises leaving from this terminal head across the Atlantic to Europe. Bermuda, the Caribbean and Canada are also popular destinations for ships leaving Manhattan. 

The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal is where you will find the Queen Mary 2 from the Cunard Cruise Line, offering Transatlantic cruises. Princess Cruises also uses the Brooklyn terminal .
 

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises are the two main lines sailing out of Cape Liberty Cruise Port. The Royal Caribbean ship Explorer of the Seas sails year-round, primarily to the Caribbean plus some cruises to Canada and New England. Summit and Silhouette are the two Celebrity Cruises ships, with destinations in Bermuda, Caribbean, Canada and New England.



    New Orleans, LA






New Orleans offers modern cruise facilities in a city that is a world-class tourist destination. Passengers who cruise from New Orleans get two vacations in one.

Carnival Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line International sail weekly to destinations in the Western Caribbean and Bahamas.


Many passengers sailing from New Orleans extend their vacation by staying in New Orleans before or after their cruise.




Galveston, TX

   
 


The Port of Galveston is the year-round home port to three Carnival Cruise Line vessels (Carnival Breeze, Carnival Freedom and Carnival Liberty). Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas also sails from the port year round. A Norwegian Cruise Line ship Norwegian Jade used to sail out of Galveston as well as Princess Cruises Crown Princess

Disney Cruise Lines also now sails from the port to locations in the Caribbean and the Bahamas. Disney operates Disney Wonder from the port during the fall and winter seasons.


Most of the cruise ships departing Galveston sail to the Caribbean. 





Los Angeles, CA (World Cruise Center)







Located in San Pedro is approximately 18 miles (29 kilometers) south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the World Cruise Center is the departure port of more than a dozen cruise lines (more than 100 ships) call at the Port of Los Angeles throughout the year.

Port of Boston (CruisePort Boston)





Located just 10 minutes from Boston's Logan International Airport, the Port of Boston is the oldest continuously operated port in the Western Hemisphere and welcomes over 100 ships during the each year. Its cruise season runs from April into November, with 152 vessel calls. Voyages sail north along the Canada/New England coastline – a fall favorite for New England’s spectacular foliage – or south to the pink sand beaches of Bermuda or the Caribbean.
